The TRADE GATEWAYS network is the world’s most extensive Digital Trade Gateways Network. TRADE GATEWAYS Tokens are Asset Backed tokens by TRADE GATEWAYS Assets and they represent a share in the ownership of the underlying TRADE GATEWAYS Assets and Profits. Property Backing in the offered package package offers an additional layer of protection for Token Holders.

The double Asset Backing provides additional protection from loss for token holders, who can also enjoy 100% of the upside and increase in value of the Tokens.

The TRADE GATEWAYS Property Backed Tokens Programme is used to fund specific parts of the TRADE GATEWAYS Programme, by selling TRADE GATEWAYS tokens to fund Specific Projects and ring fencing those token sales so that they are backed by a property held by a trustee, which is sold to re-imburse TRADE GATEWAYS Property Backed Tokens holders where required.

At the end of each Financial year, TRADE GATEWAYS Property backed Asset holders for the individual project backed by an individual property, will have the option to ask the trustee to sell the property and buy the tokens back from token holders at the issue price less an admin fee. As such, token holders can have their downside always protected. The property is valued at the point the offer is made to token holders, to ensure the value is commensurate.

At the end of each financial year, TRADE GATEWAYS profits are distributed to Token Holders.

What type of Properties will be pledged?

Residential properties in London and London Suburbs, that are used by TRADE GATEWAYS. The London Property Market is one of the world's prime property markets and is resilient to fluctuations in the property market

Who owns the Properties pledged?

The property being used as guarantee will be held in the name of a Special Purpose company that is ring fenced for investor protection.

A firm of solicitors registered with the UK Law Society will act as Trustees and will register a caution at the Land Registry so the property cannot be charged or sold. The firm of Solicitors will receive funds, hold them in a Client Escrow Account insured with the UK Law Society, and discharge all obligations to Token Holders.

The Trustees will also keep the property insured at all times.

Is the the Property pledged as Security Unencumbered?

Yes, the Properties pledged as Security are Unencumbered and free of charge or mortgage.

The relevant title searches will be made at the Land Authority on the property by the appointed lawyer to verify this and made available to Title Holders.

The Trade Gateways Network is operated by Local Merchant Services, (LMS) in co-operation with significant partners. LMS have been providing Digital Trade Services since 2017. Services are centrally provided to Trade Gateways in the Network as part of an IBM partnership programme.
